Kan Feng

Kan Feng, PhD, is a senior architect and architectural researcher with nearly a decade of professional design experience. His portfolio spans correctional and rehabilitation facilities, police stations, educational buildings, residential developments, and offices. He brings particular expertise in public-building regulations, circulation planning for security-sensitive environments, and specialized spatial requirements.

His research examines architectural philosophy, laboratory environments, and spatial ethics. He has led research projects supported at national and provincial levels and has published extensively on architecture and the philosophy of science.

As a design advisor to GUO Architecture, he contributes expertise in coordinating Chinese and U.S. building standards, evaluating the feasibility of specialized public projects, and developing complex spatial programs. His approach integrates human-centered and sustainable design strategies with the practical demands of architectural delivery.
