Siqi Guo

Founder & Principal Architect

Siqi Guo is the founder and principal architect of GUO Architecture. A UC Berkeley architecture graduate and California licensed architect, she focuses on residential design, additions, ADUs, renovations, and permit-driven projects throughout the San Francisco Bay Area.

With an architectural background spanning Japan and China, alongside her education at UC Berkeley and practice in California, Siqi brings a cross-cultural perspective to residential design. Her work connects an interest in space, material, and everyday life with the practical demands of building.

Alongside leading GUO Architecture’s architectural work, she is researching and developing platform concepts at the intersection of architecture and artificial intelligence for the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) sector. Her current exploration focuses on interactive design tools, image and floor-plan inputs, and ways to help homeowners understand residential design possibilities and a property’s development potential.

This ongoing research explores how digital tools can make early design conversations more accessible and better informed, while keeping architectural judgment and the needs of residents at the center of the process.
